Clearing a drain is the easy part. The question worth answering is why it filled up, because that decides whether you are done or calling again in six weeks.
Usually there is a reason the line collects: roots at a joint, a belly in the pipe holding water, or a section of old cast iron that has gone rough inside. Clearing it fixes today. A camera run tells you whether you are looking at a repair or another clog.
Nothing gets cut, dug, or replaced until you've seen the problem and approved the price.
Which fixtures, how often, and whether more than one is slow. Several slow fixtures at once usually points at the main rather than the branch.
Cable and cutter head matched to the line. The wrong head on old pipe can do damage that turns a cleaning into a repair.
Run water through and confirm it drains the way it should before we pack up.
If it keeps coming back, a camera run shows whether it is roots, a belly or rough pipe — so your next decision is based on what's actually down there.
