Faucet Repair and Replace

A dripping faucet is usually a worn cartridge, stem or seat rather than a dead fixture. If the faucet is worth saving, rebuilding it is the smaller ticket and we will say so.
Hard water shortens that conversation. Mineral buildup chews through washers and seats faster here than it does elsewhere, and at some point rebuilding the same fixture repeatedly costs more than replacing it.
When it is a replacement, the new faucet goes in with new supply lines and a proper seal at the deck — so the thing you notice afterwards is that it works, not that there is water under the sink.
Nothing gets cut, dug, or replaced until you've seen the problem and approved the price.
