Most of a water system is somewhere you cannot see it — behind drywall, under the slab, in the crawl space. So the repair you cannot inspect is the one that has to be done right the first time.
We cut out the failed section rather than wrapping it, join it correctly for the material, and pressure test before anything is closed up. Hard water in the High Desert is not kind to fittings, and a joint that is only nearly right will tell you about it later.
Sometimes a patch is the wrong answer. If the same line keeps failing in different places, that is the pipe telling you it is done, and we will say so rather than sell you the same repair twice.
Nothing gets cut, dug, or replaced until you've seen the problem and approved the price.
Hands on where it's visible, detection equipment where it isn't.
The failed section comes out. What goes back in is matched to the existing material — copper, PEX, CPVC or galvanized.
Tested under pressure before anything is closed back up, because that is the last chance to catch it cheaply.
If the line keeps failing, we'll tell you it needs replacing instead of patching it again.
